Awards Dinner & Auction – The Annual Community Awards Dinner & Silent
Auction will officially kick off the Pride Days festivities on Friday, October 18th, at 6:00 pm at the Sweetwater Branch Inn, 625 E University Ave, in Gainesville.

Tuesday, October 21st
LGBTQ Bullying Understanding the Importance of School Culture by Dr.
Elizabethe Payne, Director, QuERI – The Queering Education Research Institute.
This event is sponsored by UF LGBT Affairs & Gainesville Equality Youth.
Wednesday, October 22nd
LGBT Film at the HIPP, 7 pm
UF LGBT Affairs is co-sponsoring a film with the Hippodrome Theatre, 25 SE 2nd Pl.
Friday, October 24th, 9pm
“Girls Just Want to Have Fun” Womyn’s Dance!
An ‘80s themed dance at the Hippodrome (25 SE 2nd Pl) for all self-identified womyn. Tickets are $17 in advance and $25 at the door. Make sure to come dressed in your most fierce and fun ‘80s outfit! Tickets available at Wild Iris.

Pride Pub Crawl
Enjoy drink and food specials at an array of downtown Gainesville  establishments and kick off the Pride Festival Weekend with a bang. Co-hosted by the Gator Bears and PCCNCF. Starts at The Jones B-Side (203 SW 2nd Ave) and ends at the University Club (18 E University Ave). $15.00 advance registration per person. $20.00 per person at the door. Tickets available at PCCNCF and from your friendly neighborhood Gator Bear.

Join or Watch the Pride Parade
Preceding the Festival (see below) is the Annual Pride Parade which begins at 7th St and W
University Ave and proceeds east on University Ave to S Main St.

Celebrate Your PRIDE at the FESTIVAL!
Don’t miss the annual Pride Festival at Gainesville’s Downtown Bo Diddley  Community Plaza! The Festival, which is co-sponsored by the City of Gainesville  Department of Cultural Affairs, will have dozens of local musical acts and vendors  lining the plaza. A “Kids Space” will also be available. The event is free and open to the public.

Sunday, October 26th: Pride Sunday
The United Church of Gainesville, located at 1624 NW 5th Ave, will hold its  annual Pride Sunday Services at 9:15am and 11:15am.
Special Pride Message – “Family Matters”.
Special Seminar – Gina L. Duncan, Equality Florida,
Transgender Inclusion Director at 11am.
Reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall at 12:15pm.

Sunday, October 26th, 11:00am
Inaugural Gainesville Pride Brunch
Come celebrate with us at Emiliano’s Café and bring the 2014 Pride Celebration  to a savory and delicious conclusion. Co-hosted by Gainesville Community Alliance and PCCNCF. $22.50 per person (includes tax and gratuity). Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance by Oct 21 – available from GCA and PCC or online.
